Book any of 445 tests online. A licensed FloLabs phlebotomist arrives at your home, office or hotel at the time you choose. The draw takes 10 to 20 minutes. Your samples are analysed by Mayo Clinic Laboratories, Armin Labs, Dynacare, ReligenDx or Precision Epigenomics, and your results land in your private AvoVita portal — most within a week of shipping.

No referral needed for more than 440 of our 445 tests. Home visits are $85 in Calgary and $135 in Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks and Chestermere — charged once per appointment, however many tests you order. A second person at the same appointment is $55, not another visit fee.

Your home, your office, a friend or family member's place, a hotel or a short-term rental. Everyone in one order shares one address and one appointment. The draw takes 10 to 20 minutes.

Your specimen goes to the laboratory

Specimens ship to Mayo Clinic Laboratories in Rochester, Minnesota, or to the specialist laboratory that performs your test. A small number of tests have short specimen stability and must be collected on a specific morning so they ship the same day — where that applies, it is stated on the test before you order.

Results arrive privately

Results are delivered to your AvoVita client portal, usually within a week of shipping. Turnaround is shown on every test in the catalogue.

Your health information is held under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act. AvoVita is not connected to Alberta Health Services, and nothing is shared with any public system.
